Home to Brewdog, Aberdeen is proud of its local breweries and gin distillery, and if you are looking for a cocktail, you are in the right place.
Food & Drink
Aberdeenshire is where the Sticky Toffee Pudding was invented so you can tell we like our food! And being right next to the on the North Sea, we also have the best fish and chips for miles. Our fine dining options enhance our reputation as a cosmopolitan city, with a growing café culture and international street food offerings.
Shopping
The city has a host of shopping options, with our three indoor shopping malls housing every brand name you will need, along with great places to eat and drink during your shopping trips. We are also proud of our local designers, with a large number of independent boutiques to suit every budget, from vintage to catwalk chic.
Arts & Culture
Aberdeen breathes arts and culture, with modern and historic music and events venues. The Nuart Festival brings dramatic colour to the city every year and Scotland’s newest state of the art events venue P&J Live attracts the biggest names in entertainment. The newly renovated Music Hall offers city-centre entertainment and our beautiful award-winning art gallery will excite and inspire.
History
Dating back at least as far as 600BC, Aberdeen’s rich natural biodiversity and strategic location have long attracted settlers – including the Romans who fought the Picts in Aberdeenshire at the turn of the first century. With monuments to William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Queen Victoria, Aberdeen’s ancient history sits alongside spectacular Victorian architecture in a vibrant, modern city
Sports and adventure
With the Shire on our doorstep, including the hills and mountains of the Cairngorms not far away, Aberdeen is at the heart of adventure in Scotland. The city’s parks and beaches offer walking and biking opportunities and adrenalin lovers will enjoy our dry ski centre and indoor climbing, skatepark and martial arts facilities.

I am living in Coopers Court since November, 2020 and the experience has been nothing short of excellent. Our flat is spacious and bright and our Property Manager, Ms. Catriona Thomson, is very friendly, easy to contact and attentive to any issues related to the accommodation making sure that we have the best experience while living here. When I urgently needed to move in Catriona made the process incredibly easy. I couldn't praise this accommodation and its management enough and would definitely recommend this accommodation to any student looking for a place to stay in Aberdeen.

Coopers Court is a very clean, comfortable and convenient place to live. I made so many nice memories with my flatmates from UK and overseas at Coopers Court.
